Upon joining UCFB in 2017 to study Sports Business and Sports Law, it was here that Emilie began to realise that there could be a career in sport that didn’t involve Sport Science! She fully immersed herself in all things ‘Wembley’ when she started working as part of the events hospitality team in her first year of university.
After graduating, Emilie went on to work for a championship football club as a part of the commercial team whilst studying her Masters in Sport Management. Throughout the year at the club Emilie delivered different client events, assisted with player activations, contractual fulfilment with partners and was part of the ‘return of fans’ to stadia operation in a safe, post covid environment. All whilst learning about the ‘behind the scenes’ operation required to run a football club.
Upon graduating from her Masters, Emilie took on the role of Assistant Event Manager at Wembley Stadium where she managed over a hundred private box clients to ensure the match day delivery and experience was of a high standard. In addition to this, Emilie worked closely with commercial clients to ensure the smooth delivery of their own events held at the stadium.
In her free time, Emilie loves to travel, go to the theatre and find new restaurants.
