Hayley McQueen is one of the UK’s most distinguished sports broadcasters. A Manchester-born journalist, she began her media journey working behind the scenes, as a runner and production assistant before becoming a reporter-producer for Middlesbrough FC TV.
Her talent and tenacity led her to Sky Sports News, where she rose through the ranks to become a lead anchor, and one of the few female broadcasters to regularly front live football broadcasts across major competitions including the Premier League and FA Cup. Hayley also anchored MUTV’s live build-up shows, interviewed legends such as Sir Alex Ferguson, and reported from global sporting events across multiple continents, for example, presenting a World Cup studio show for Al Jazeera Sports watched by over 100 million viewers.
Beyond broadcasting, she’s frequently engaged as a speaker and host by organisations like The FA, The LMA, Alzheimer’s UK, Samsung and Barclays, trusted to moderate fireside chats, present awards, and lead dynamic Q&A sessions.
