Jason is a former footballer playing for a number of clubs, including Blackburn rovers, west brom, and Reading. He now holds roles at CONCAF and as a non-exec director at west brom.
Jason is a former Premier League and Grenada international striker, renowned for his achievements both on and off the pitch.
After beginning his career with Hayes, Jason enjoyed successful spells with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Bristol Rovers, West Bromwich Albion, Wigan Athletic, Blackburn Rovers and Reading. A powerful and intelligent forward, he made over 400 professional appearances before retiring in 2014.
Since retirement, Jason has established himself as a respected football broadcaster and pundit, regularly appearing on BBC Sport, Sky Sports, Premier League Productions and BBC Radio 5 Live. He is also the founder of the Jason Roberts Foundation, which provides educational and sporting opportunities for young people in the UK and Grenada.
Jason currently serves as Chief Football Development Officer at the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF), leading football development initiatives across the region. In April 2026, he was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of West Bromwich Albion, helping to shape the club’s long-term strategic direction.
Awarded an MBE in 2010 for services to sport and community work, Jason remains a leading advocate for youth development, diversity and positive change across the game.
