Liam Loftus is a sports presenter, reporter, producer, and content creator.

He has worked with the likes of BBC, Manchester City, EA Sports, DAZN, and The FA.

In 2016, whilst studying at Sheffield Hallam University, Liam began working for Manchester City, presenting content for their Snapchat channel. In 2018, Liam went on to present for the Manchester City Kids app, before becoming their social media producer/presenter. During his time at Manchester City, Liam launched the club’s first TikTok channel and continues to work with the club.

In 2020, Liam joined BBC Sport as their first digital presenter, where he helped to launch the BBC Sport TikTok channel. The following year saw Liam play a significant role as part of the team covering the Men’s 2020 Euros.

In 2022, Liam played a pivotal role in covering boxing at the Commonwealth Games, and in 2023, he featured on BBC’s TV coverage of Wimbledon, interviewing eventual winners Marketa Vondrousova and Carlos Alcaraz.

Liam also contributed to the 2023 Women’s World Cup BBC coverage, most notably featuring on the coverage for the final between England and Spain. Other BBC highlights include creating the ‘Train Like A Pro’ series, appearances on Football Focus and Match of the Day, and working as a digital reporter for the Paris 2024 Olympics.

In addition, Liam has worked with DAZN for the last two Women’s Champions Leagues and contributed to social coverage of the FA Cup.

Outside of work, Liam loves cooking, travelling, and all things outdoorsy—from walking his dogs to gardening.
