Lucy Monkman, widely known as DJ Monki, is a DJ and creative working across music, culture and football, with a strong presence in the grassroots game. Currently representing Dulwich Hamlet Women, she is deeply embedded in the women’s football community as both a player and advocate for the sport.
A lifelong football fan and player, Lucy has built a unique career where football and culture intersect. Alongside her club commitments, she has worked on major campaigns with brands including Nike and Lidl, including Lidl’s Big on Women’s Football initiative, helping spotlight women’s football, representation and community impact.
She is also one of the hosts of The Thing About Arsenal podcast, further strengthening her connection to the club and the wider game. Through both her playing and creative work, Lucy continues to bridge the gap between football, culture and storytelling.
Whether on the pitch or in front of the microphone, Lucy remains a passionate advocate for the grassroots game, using her platform to promote access, visibility and growth for women’s football.
