Shannon Cooke

Shannon is an English professional footballer known for her defensive strength, leadership and composure on the ball. She began her career in Arsenal’s Academy in 2014, captaining the U20 side to a league and FA Cup double in 2016.

In 2018, she moved to the United States to study and play at Louisiana State University, making 94 appearances for the LSU Tigers and serving as captain in her final two seasons. She has also represented England at youth level, including the U17 and U19 squads.

She returned to England in 2023, signing for West Ham United in the Women’s Super League before joining Birmingham City on loan in January 2025, making the move permanent in the summer. She was part of the Birmingham City squad that won the 2025/26 WSL2 title and secured promotion to WSL1.

Shannon is also a Blackstone ambassador and a keen cook. Off the pitch, she is one of the most viewed WSL players on TikTok, where she shares sport and lifestyle content.
