Eniola Aluko features in BBC Radio 4 series “The Ideas That Make Us’.

Female footballer Eniola Aluko will feature in BBC Radio 4 series ‘The Ideas That Make Us’.

In the programme award-winning historian and broadcaster Bettany Hughes takes one word, investigates its origins and how ideas around it have developed across centuries and impacted on history and culture. Eniola will feature in the Wisdom episode, a word that originally meant ‘skill’ or ‘talent’.

In the programme Bettany interviews Eniola on her thought processes when she’s trying to score a goal, and how those compare to the way her brain works in her professional capacity as a solicitor.

The series starts on January 27th at 145pm and continues every day at the same time. You can listen to Eniola’s documentary on Wisdom on Thursday 30th January.
